Let's face it, LCD/Plasma mounts aren't complicated devices. They have no moving parts and all they have to do is hold your LCD/Plasma screen on the wall. They don't even have to look all that great because you can hardly seen them. Then why are they so expensive? Luckily, Dayton makes some low cost quality alternatives for those of us that don't want to spend an arm and a leg on a quality wall mount.
For under $40 at Parts Express, the Dayton wall mounts offer heavy duty steel construction in an unobtrusive flat black finish. In addition, they are low profile which allows the TV to be less than 1" from the wall. This allows you to focus on your TV viewing and not the mount because the mount hides seamlessly behind the TV. The Dayton Wall Mount Kit includes all hardware with lag bolts for an easy and secure installation on most Plasma/LCD models at an unbelievably low price. I have yet to find something of this quality locally for less than $100 and this includes pricing some mounts at the local Wal Mart where the cheapest one was over $100. I have been so satisfied with these mounts that I am using them for my 2 flat screens. They are available for 23"-37" and 32"-60" both in fixed and vertical tilt models.
