The Dayton SUB-120 HT Series 12" brings tremendous low end bass at a very economical price. For under $200, the SUB-120 gives you high end sound and looks. To put it simply, you will be hard pressed to find a subwoofer of this quality at this price point . In fact, I will go so far as to say you will not find a sub for less than $400 at your local Big box store that will sound as good as the SUB-120.

This subwoofer features a 155 Watt amplifier and a 12" front firing subwoofer all packaged in a dual port rear vented enclosure. The amplifier features high and low level inputs, a 40 to 180 Hz, 12 dB/octave crossover so it can easily be connected to any Home Theater receiver and tuned to suit your needs. The amplifier also features a convenient auto power on/off that is triggered by your receiver signal. Despite being a 12" sub, the enclosure is relatively compact measuring 14-3/4" W x 17-5/8" H x 18" D and featuring a nice low key black ash finish. Perhaps the most impressive thing about this sub, however, is the low end extension as it is capable of playback down to 25hz. Now if you haven't experienced bass in the 20hz range, then you missing a great deal in your home theater experience. Usually, you have to pay a premium with subs that can reach in the 20hz range, but with this unit, you can have it for relatively little money. I would have to say, this is by far one of the best bangs for your buck and you will find it next to impossible finding a sub of this quality at any of your local audio stores.
